We have the expertise to take care of it all – on time and on budget.
Materials
All the structural frames for our garden rooms, orangeries, porches, garages and log buildings are manufactured using locally sourced, air dried seasoned materials from our own drying yard.
The timber is cut in local forests by our own people using our own equipment, is transported by our own timber lorries and taken to our own sawmill and drying facilities. By these means we have complete control of the quality of each piece of timber that we use.
We are CATG* certified structural graders, having undertaken comprehensive training on how to carefully select timber and have a wealth of experience.
*CATG is one of the UK’s leading timber and construction certification, examination and notification bodies.
Ecological and Social responsibilities
We are proud to work in close conjunction with the five forestry estates within our local community ensuring environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and sustainable timber management.
Environmentally appropriate forest management ensures that the harvest of timber maintains the forest’s biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes.
Socially beneficial forest management encourages our local partners to sustain the forest resources and adhere to long-term management plans.
Any waste products are recycled back into our Biomass log dryer to reduce environmental impact.
